Greetings Onkwa:wen (Its Ours) http://www.myspace.com/onkwawen
is a newly founded Mohawk Language Resource in Akwesasne. We would like to acknowledge and honor all those dedicated people who are working hard to preserve our language such as elders, teachers, parents and children. We encourage everyone in our community to learn and to speak the Kanien'ke:ha language with pride that our ancestors gave us. We would like to thank the Ronathahonni Cultural Center, the Akwesasne Area Management Board and Indian Time for the opportunity to develop a community wide Mohawk Language Promotion initiative. We welcome any ideas, resources or information you may have!

Resource Library:

Also available at the centre is our resource library with hundreds of books to select from on issues ranging from Native American arts to politics involving Native American people throughout the Americas.

Lecture Series:
The RCC holds lecture series showcasing Haudenosaunee scholars from across the Six Nations. Lecturers in the past have included Pete Jemison (www.peterjemison.com), Darren Bonaparte (www.wampumchronicles.com) and Brenda Lafrance, Cultural Researcher and Historian. These lectures explore historical and contemporary issues of the Haudenosaunee.
